Tell Us About Your Design Background and What Did You Do Before Design?
I worked at Belfort for 5 years in the early 1990鈥檚. Prior to Belfort, I worked at Wood Market and performed administration work in associations.
What Is Your Design Aesthetic?
My design aesthetic is based off of my clients鈥� lifestyle. I enjoy working with different upholstery fabrics and colors to bring my clients vision to life.
What Do You Love About Working With Clients and Design Projects?
I love the excitement of finding the right fit and feel for my clients鈥� home, including helping them with great design selections. I want my clients to always feel comfortable with their choices and that we had a good time! This helps my clients not feel as overwhelmed as they were when first starting the process.
What Do You Want Your Clients To Know About You?
I am patient, caring and I listen.
What Do You Enjoy In Your Free-Time?
I enjoy researching for customers, always looking at ideas in magazines and online, and design programs. I also enjoy spending time with my family! My children and grandchildren are a very important part of my life, as well as my siblings.
Nita's Design Advice: Don鈥檛 go with trends, just because it is a trend. If your current palette is what you love, there is no harm in keeping it the same or making things fresh and new. Try A different look, but still within your comfort zone.
